Most recently a barn for storage of hay, the remains of this building are what is
left of the original home of the Hurley's -- distant relations on my grandfather,
Daniel Thompson's, side of the family.
They acquired this property _________ .
My great-great-grandmother, Bridget Hurley, was born here.
Donal and a few of his clan,
Brendan and Daniel (Donie) with
his daughters Emma and Catherine

The old house was built by my grandparents, Donald and Mary Thompson
in the late 50's to early 60's.
As you face the front of the house, to the right is the site of a home
that was built by our great-great-grandfather, Daniel Thompson.
He married my above mentioned kinswoman, Bridget Hurley.
This steeple roofed structure later became the "chicken barn" from
my visits in the 60's and 70's.
